Regina Ho, who was the 2017 runner-up of Miss Hong Kong Pageant, has spoken openly about moving past earlier criticism labeling her a “gold-digger.” Today, she appears settled and content in her personal life, embracing marriage, motherhood, and a more private lifestyle.
From pageant spotlight to personal happiness
Regina married her long-time partner a second-generation heir working in logistics in 2023, after which the couple began a comfortable life together in a high-end apartment in Hong Kong’s Hung Hom district.
In April 2025, she gave birth to her first child. In interviews and on social media, she’s described her postpartum experience including a lavish confinement stay with meals from a Michelin-starred chef as a mix of luxury and gratitude.
Addressing the ‘gold-digger’ tag
Regina has acknowledged the rumours that followed her after the marriage that she married for money but she dismisses such labels. As she told fans, she always “spends within her means.” She highlights that before her entertainment career, she worked at a major firm a fact seldom mentioned when gossiping about her wealth.
Rather than indulging in extravagance, she says she values financial planning and savings, pushing back against the idea that wealth automatically defines her.
