Mumbai On 27 November 2025, friends, family and film‑industry colleagues came together at Taj Lands End for a prayer meet organised to honour the life and legacy of veteran actor Dharmendra, who passed away on 24 November at the age of 89. The gathering titled “Celebration of Life” offered a space for collective mourning and tribute, bringing together admirers from all corners of the film fraternity.
The meet ran from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm local time, and the atmosphere was deeply emotional a fitting homage to a star whose illustrious six‑decade Prayer career left an enduring imprint on Indian cinema.
Across the evening, some of Bollywood’s biggest names gathered to pay their respects. Among the attendees were leading actors, long-time colleagues and close friends all united by grief, reverence and gratitude for Dharmendra’s work.
