PM Modi Gives Strong Shoutout to Bihar, Calls NDA Mandate a Historic Turning Point
Addressing party workers and the people of Bihar, PM Modi said the mandate reflected “trust in development, stability and good governance.” He thanked voters for supporting the NDA despite a high-stakes campaign from the opposition’s Mahagathbandhan. Modi emphasised that the people had chosen progress over political uncertainty.

The BJP office saw an outpouring of supporters throughout the day. Party cadres distributed sweets, beat drums and raised slogans praising Modi, Nitish Kumar and the NDA alliance. Many leaders said the scale of the win proved that the NDA’s work on welfare schemes, infrastructure and law-and-order had resonated with voters.
NDA’s Win Seen as Public Rejection of Opposition Narrative in Bihar
Political analysts noted that the mandate was a clear setback for the Mahagathbandhan, which tried to frame the election as a referendum on unemployment and governance. However, the NDA’s messaging on stability, women’s empowerment, EBC support and social justice appears to have struck a deeper chord with the electorate.
PM Modi stated that the NDA government would further accelerate development projects in Bihar, ranging from road expansion and digital connectivity to youth employment and welfare distribution. Moreover, he highlighted that Bihar had “shown the way” by resoundingly backing an agenda centered on governance and growth. In doing so, he suggested, the state had reaffirmed its commitment to progress and reform.
From Patna to rural districts, NDA supporters celebrated the result with rallies, fireworks and gatherings. Many said the victory represented a renewed hope for economic opportunities and continued political stability in the state.
