Morocco made a powerful impression at the 100th edition of Internationale Grüne Woche Berlin Green Week, held January 17–26, 2026, leading with one of its largest-ever delegations and a high-profile pavilion focused on sustainable agriculture, green energy and food innovation.
The Moroccan stand, one of the most visited at the fair, showcased the country’s leadership in phosphate-based fertilizers, green hydrogen, solar-powered desalination, drip irrigation technologies and climate-resilient crop varieties.
Visitors sampled Moroccan extra-virgin olive oil, argan products, saffron, dates, citrus, and value-added items such as organic couscous and spice blends, while interactive displays highlighted morocco renewable-powered cold chains and precision agriculture tools.
Berlin Green Week organizers praised Morocco’s “ambitious and forward-looking” presence, noting the country’s alignment with the fair’s centennial theme of “Feeding the World Sustainably.” The strong showing reinforces Morocco’s growing role as a South-South cooperation leader in agri-food and green transition, backed by its vast phosphate reserves and renewable energy ambitions 52% target by 2030.
