Morocco advances transparency and the right to information in late 2025. Authorities sign key partnership agreements integrating major institutions into the National Portal for the Right of Access to Information (PNDAI). These moves strengthen Law 31.13 implementation and expand access for citizens, including those abroad.
Morocco Judiciary Institutions Join PNDAI
On December 24, 2025, a partnership agreement in Rabat integrates the Higher Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) and the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office into the PNDAI. The Commission for the Right of Access to Information (CDAI) partners with them
This allows morocco citizens and residents to submit requests directly through the portal. It promotes openness in the judicial sector and provides reliable data for oversight.
Extending Access to Moroccans Abroad
Days earlier, on December 22, 2025, the CDAI partnered with the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME). This enables Moroccans living overseas to file information requests and complaints remotely via PNDAI.
The initiative reinforces good governance and ensures the right applies globally. It follows similar integrations with Parliament and other bodies.
These agreements build on Morocco’s efforts under Law 31.13 to centralize information requests. The PNDAI offers a unified, secure platform for tracking submissions.
