Galaxy Corporation hits ₩1 trillion valuation new era for enter-tech in Korea

South Korea’s Galaxy Corporation an AI-powered entertainment-tech firm has officially joined the country’s unicorn club after its valuation surged to ₩1 trillion (roughly US $680–740 million) following a pre-IPO funding round of over ₩100 billion.

The rise has been meteoric: just in 2023 the company was valued at around ₩500 billion, and in less than two years it has doubled that figure. Meanwhile, the company’s 2025 performance showed rapid growth revenues reportedly jumped significantly and net income turned positive after earlier losses.

What powers the jump blending entertainment, AI and IP

Galaxy Corporation isn’t a conventional entertainment agency instead it describes itself as an “enter-tech” company, straddling four verticals: media, IP, commerce, and technology.

A big catalyst was signing G-Dragon as its flagship artist in 2023, which raised the company’s profile and broadened its reach.

Galaxy also works with cutting-edge tech including AI, and reportedly runs an “Enter-Tech Research Institute” (in collaboration with major Korean institutions) to produce content that mixes creativity and technology.

With rising investor confidence, indicating belief not only in creative talent but in scalable “IP + tech + media” ecosystem, Galaxy’s success signals a shift: Korean entertainment firms may no longer be just show-business — they’re evolving into tech-powered media conglomerates.

What’s next IPO, expansion, global ambitions

Galaxy is reportedly planning an IPO in 2026. The newly raised funds will reportedly help expand its AI-driven entertainment platform and push for global outreach.

If successful, Galaxy may mark a new path for “Enter-Tech” — combining cultural content, tech infrastructure, and global IP commercialization. Given the growing global interest in Korean entertainment, this could mean more cross-border collaborations, content exports, and international visibility.
