Air India Express Flight Evacuated Following Email Threat
The situation escalated when security officials received an email claiming explosives had been planted on multiple aircraft. At IGI Airport, an Air India Express flight was evacuated immediately after the alert. Passengers were safely escorted off the plane as bomb disposal squads and CISF personnel launched an intensive search operation.
Airport sources confirmed that no suspicious object was found, but the aircraft underwent a thorough inspection. Flight operations were briefly disrupted before normal schedules resumed under tightened security.

A senior official from the Union Home Ministry stated that the National Investigation Agency and Intelligence Bureau have joined the probe to trace the source of the threatening email. Early indications suggest the message originated from an overseas domain, raising concerns about possible cyberterrorism tactics being used to spread panic.
Red Fort Explosion Heightens Security Sensitivity in Delhi
The bomb scare comes in the immediate aftermath of the Red Fort blast, which left the capital on edge. Security forces have been on high alert since the incident, with extra deployments around government buildings, metro stations, and public landmarks.
