AAP's 'Ghajini' Poster Targets Delhi LG Over Pollution Crisis: BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva Fires Back

AAP’s ‘Ghajini’ Poster Targets Delhi LG Over Pollution Crisis BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva Fires Back

Delhi’s air pollution crisis intensifies in winter 2025. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party launches a sharp poster attack on Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on December 26, 2025. Moreover, AAP dubs him “Delhi ka Ghajini,” accusing him of “memory loss” and forgetting that the BJP now governs the capital’s civic body.

The Viral ‘Ghajini’ Poster Explained

AAP shares an AI-generated image morphing LG Saxena’s face onto Aamir Khan’s character from the film Ghajini, known for short-term memory loss. Tattoos on the body read phrases like “Kejriwal is responsible,” “Pollution in 2025,” and “AQI at 750.” The caption plays on words: “L – Low Quality; G – Ghajini.”

This jibe responds to Saxena’s recent letter blaming former CM Arvind Kejriwal for the pollution mess. Consequently, AAP flips the script, claiming the LG “forgets” BJP’s accountability after 10 months in power over the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).

Delhi’s Ongoing Air Quality Woes

Winter smog chokes the capital once again, with AQI levels spiking into severe categories. Residents face health risks from toxic air. Furthermore, both parties trade blame: aap highlights BJP’s current control, while BJP points to alleged neglect during AAP’s previous rule.

BJP’s Strong Counter from Virendra Sachdeva

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva dismisses the poster as theatrics. He retorts sharply: “If someone has forgotten Delhi after continuously losing, then he is Arvind Kejriwal.” Sachdeva defends the new administration, noting it’s only 10 months old versus AAP’s 12 years.

Additionally, he claims visible improvements like road repairs and cleaning are underway. Sachdeva urges patience, promising better results by March-April.
