Reflecting on a widely shared moment from the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit (SCO), Putin revealed the now-viral car ride with Modi was not a planned publicity stunt but a spontaneous gesture of friendship.
He also heralded India’s economic performance, highlighting a 7.7 % growth rate as a “first-in-the-world result” under Modi’s governance and suggested that both countries share a broad “plan for cooperation” in areas like energy, space, AI and defence.
